SB 616: Medically Essential Electricity

GENERAL BILL by Dawson ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Holzendorf

Medically Essential Electricity; requires municipalities that provide electric utility service to provide medically essential service in same manner & according to same procedures as nonmunicipal public utilities; authorizes municipalities to disconnect service under certain circumstances; provides for notice to customers; provides for payment for service & for monitoring of customers; forbids disconnection unless payment schedule is not adhered to, etc. Amends 366.15.
