SB 696: Marriage Licenses

GENERAL BILL by Brown-Waite

Marriage Licenses; requires that, for purposes of obtaining marriage license, person who is not citizen of United States & who does not have social security number or alien registration number must present valid passport, & under certain circumstances, valid visa; eliminates provisions authorizing county judge or clerk of circuit court to issue marriage license to noncitizens if one or both of parties are unable to provide required identification. Amends 741.04.
