GENERAL BILL by Insurance ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Berfield ; Murzin
Medical Negligence; expands hospital's authority to discipline members of medical staff of hospital; requires medical negligence claims against certain health care providers to be brought under medical malpractice provisions; deletes requirement that medical malpractice policies authorize insurer to admit liability or settle without consent of insured; prohibits solicitation of specified legal business for profit, etc. Amends FS.
