CS/SB 2444: Property Tax
GENERAL BILL by Finance and Taxation ; Margolis
Property Tax; revises requirements for petitioners & property appraisers re providing evidence lists & documentation for proceedings of value adjustment board; requires that petitioner be notified earlier of scheduled appearance before said board; requires seller to give notice to prospective purchaser of homestead property concerning ad valorem taxes on property; authorizes person other than taxpayer to contest assessment of any tax, etc. Amends FS.
