SB 2688: Guardianship

GENERAL BILL by Campbell ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Smith

Guardianship; authorizes guardian of property of incapacitated person to contest validity of trust before it becomes irrevocable; requires court to determine whether there is alternative to guardianship if person is determined incapable of exercising his or her delegable rights; requires that validity of ward's durable power of attorney, trust, or trust amendment be reported in guardianship proceedings, etc. Amends Ch. 744, 737.2065.
