Abrogating Offensive Place Names; provides legislative findings that certain place names are offensive or derogatory; requires Fla. Historical Commission & Historic Resources Div. to aid state agencies & local governments in identifying geographic sites having offensive or derogatory place names; directs said agencies & governments to identify such sites by specified date; requires state & local governments to update maps & markers with new place names, etc. Creates 267.0625.
