GENERAL BILL by McInvale ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Bucher ; Fields ; Kendrick ; Ross ; Sands
Protection & Care of Elders; reclassifies offense of aggravated abuse of elderly person or disabled adult from second degree felony to first degree felony; creates provision re training in identification & investigation of elder abuse & neglect for certified law enforcement officers; provides that officer's certification becomes inactive in certain circumstances re failure to complete training, etc. Amends 825.102, 921.0022; creates 943.17296.
