PROPOSED BILL by Commerce and Consumer Services

Fla. Enterprise Zone Act; revises procedures for counties or municipalities to nominate area for designation as new enterprise zone; removes authority for certain counties to nominate more than one enterprise zone; requires that application for designation as new enterprise zone contain enterprise zone development plan; establishes maximum number of enterprise zones allowed, subject to any new zones authorized by Legislature, etc. Amends FS.
