CS/HB 1019: Deceptive & Unfair Trade Practices
GENERAL BILL by Pickens
Deceptive & Unfair Trade Practices; declares that unfair methods of competition, unconscionable acts or practices, & unfair or deceptive acts or practices used by motor vehicle dealers are unlawful; provides that said dealer who willfully uses method or practice that victimizes or attempts to victimize senior citizens or handicapped persons commits unfair or deceptive trade practice; provides for reimbursement or restitution, etc. Amends Ch. 501.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
