GENERAL BILL by Health and Human Services Appropriations ; Health Regulation ; Peaden

Pharmacy Technicians [SPCC]; Revises licensure requirements. Requires the Board of Pharmacy to adopt rules. Provides for the registration of pharmacy technicians. Requires that a registered pharmacy technician be under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Requires the board to set fees for the registration of pharmacy technicians. Requires completion of a pharmacy technician training program in order to register as a pharmacy technician by a specified date, etc.

Effective Date: 06/23/2008 except as otherwise provided
