SB 196: Miami-Dade County Foster Care Pilot Program [SPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Wilson

Miami-Dade County Foster Care Pilot Program [SPCC]; Requires the Department of Children and Family Services to develop an optional continued foster care pilot program in Miami-Dade County. Provides that the participants shall continue to receive foster care services, remain under continued court jurisdiction, and remain in his or her current foster or group home placement or another licensed foster home until he or she leaves the pilot program or reaches the age of 21 years, etc. APPROPRIATION: $500,000.
