GENERAL BILL by Health and Human Services Appropriations ; Health Regulation ; Children, Families, and Elder Affairs ; Storms

Adult Protection and Care/DCFS [SPCC]; Authorizes the DCFS to obtain copies of driver's license files maintained by the HSMV for the purpose of conducting protective investigations. Requires a search of the FDLE's sexual offender database to be conducted on all nursing home residents. Requires contracted workers employed in a nursing home to submit to background screening. Requires the AHCA to establish a fee schedule to cover the cost of a level 1 or level 2 screening, etc. APPROPRIATION: $391,768.
