GENERAL BILL by Margolis

High School Graduation/Diploma Requirements/Voting [SPCC]; Requires that, as a prerequisite to graduate or receive a high school equivalency diploma, a high school student or candidate for the equivalency diploma register or pre-register to vote if qualified to do so. Provides that with a written request from the candidate's parent or guardian, or if the candidate is 18 years of age or older, or an emancipated minor, he or she shall be excused from this requirement, etc.
