CS/CS/SB 854: Unemployment Compensation/Day Laborer

GENERAL BILL by Transportation and Economic Development Appropriations ; Commerce ; Fasano ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn

Unemployment Compensation/Day Laborer; Provides that a day laborer is disqualified for benefits following loss of employment with a labor pool. Provides that the time of hire for a day laborer is upon acceptance of the first assignment with a labor pool. Requires the labor pool to provide written notice to the temporary employee regarding the availability of work and reassignment, etc.
