SB 96: Marital Assets and Liabilities

GENERAL BILL by Aronberg

Marital Assets and Liabilities; Defines "barrier to remarriage" to mean, without limitation and not exclusively, any religious, secular, or conscientious restraint or inhibition of which the spouse is aware, which is imposed on the other spouse, and which exists by reason of the spouse's commission or withholding of any voluntary act. Authorizes the court to take into consideration the failure or refusal of one spouse to remove a barrier to the remarriage, etc.
