Public K-12 Education/Social Studies Standards [SPSC]; Provides requirements for social studies standards relating to civics education. Requires that social studies standards be included in assessments. Requires that the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test measure student content knowledge and skills in social studies. Requires that the Commissioner of Education undertake the development of comprehensive assessments of social studies beginning with the 2011-2012 school year, etc.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law
