SB 1642: Economic Development

GENERAL BILL by Bennett

Economic Development; Revises legislative findings and declarations of necessity to emphasize the importance of the economic activities in counties and municipalities. Provides that the purposes of the Florida Development Finance Corporation Act may be accomplished by legislation implementing constitutional provisions allowing local governments to issue revenue bonds to finance or refinance the cost of certain capital projects and authorizes new and innovative means for the investment of public trust funds, etc.
