SB 1746: Excise Taxes

GENERAL BILL by Richter

Excise Taxes; Revises the amounts of excise taxes imposed on pollutants. Deletes provisions providing for the revenues from the excise taxes to be deposited into the Coastal Protection Trust Fund, the Water Quality Assurance Trust Fund, the Inland Protection Trust Fund, and the Coastal Protection Trust Fund. Provides for certain excise tax revenues to be transferred into the General Revenue Fund instead of the Coastal Protection Trust Fund and the Water Quality Assurance Trust Fund. Repeals provisions relating to the imposition of a waste tire fee, etc.
