Procurement of Personal Property and Services; Defines "off-the-shelf commodity"; authorizes agencies & eligible users to use request for quote to obtain written pricing from any qualified vendor for purchase of off-the-shelf commodities; authorizes agencies & eligible users to purchase off-the-shelf commodities otherwise available under purchasing agreements & state term contracts under specified conditions; requires agencies & eligible users to purchase generic equivalent of brand name off-the-shelf commodities unless adequate justification can be provided for purchase of similar brand name products.
