GENERAL BILL by Health and Human Services Quality Subcommittee ; O'Toole ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Bullard ; Caldwell ; Porter ; Porth ; Sands ; Williams

Animal Control; Requires animal control officers, wildlife officers, & disease laboratories to report potential health risks to humans from animals; provides for use of additional prescription drugs for euthanasia & chemical immobilization of animals; provides for rulemaking to expand list of additional prescription drugs; provides that Board of Pharmacy or DOH may revoke or suspend permit upon determination that permittee or its employees or agents is using or has used authorized drug for other purposes or if permittee has committed specified violations; restricts use of intracardial injection for euthanizing animals; prohibits delivery of lethal solution or powder by adding it to food.
