SB 1368: Education Performance Accountability

GENERAL BILL by Montford

Education Performance Accountability; Establishing the Transition Education Accountability Task Force within the Executive Office of the Governor; requiring the implementation of the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards adopted by rule of the State Board of Education in a specified year be extended through a specified school year; prohibiting the use of a student’s performance on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) as a requirement for graduation, promotion, retention, or assignment of grades during the transition period from the FCAT to a new assessment, etc.
