CS/SB 220: Contraband Forfeiture
GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Bean
Contraband Forfeiture; Requiring each state or local law enforcement agency that seizes property for the purpose of forfeiture to perform a specified review at least annually; requiring each seizing agency to adopt and implement specified written policies and procedures for the prompt release of seized property under certain circumstances; requiring each state or local law enforcement agency that seizes property for the purpose of forfeiture to complete an annual report, etc.
