GENERAL BILL by Fiscal Policy ; Transportation ; DiCeglie

Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; Requiring the department or its authorized agent to issue certain licenses and fuel tax decals; providing that a certain affidavit constitutes proof of ownership and right of possession to a motor vehicle or mobile home the previous owner of which died testate; authorizing permanent registration of certain rental trucks; authorizing a uniform paper or electronic format of the registration certificate for a motor vehicle; requiring that certain information on the driver license or identification card of a sexual offender or sexual predator be printed in red; requiring the department to record in the driver’s record that he or she is disqualified from operating a commercial motor vehicle under certain circumstances, etc.

Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act, this act shall take effect July 1, 2023
