GENERAL BILL by Judiciary Committee ; Regulatory Reform & Economic Development Subcommittee ; Salzman

Gaming Control; Prohibits falsely personating personnel from Gaming Control Commission; specifies violation of prohibition against keeping gambling house must be committed knowingly; requires court to order offender to pay fine if he or she is convicted of trafficking in slot machines; prohibits person from making false statements regarding legality of slot machine to facilitate sale or delivery; prohibits person from transporting of specified number of other persons to facilitate illegal gambling; prohibits specified activities relating to advertisements; specifies regulation of gambling is expressly preempted to state; requires court to consider amount of currency seized that is connected to specified violations relating to illegal gambling when determining bail.
