GENERAL BILL by Benarroch
Local Government Spending; Requires posting of county & municipality budgets to allow members of public to download & review certain information & data in specified formats; requires certain officers to perform a specified exercise before final adoption of budget; prohibits local governments from expending public funds for purpose of diversity, equity, & inclusion; prohibits local governments from contracting with private vendors for services for promoting, advocating for, or providing training or education on diversity, equity, & inclusion; requires all local governments make specified certification to CFO by date certain each year; requires CFO to conduct specified evaluation; specifies that local governments that violate certain provisions are subject to administrative fines; requires such fines to be deposited in Insurance Regulatory Trust Fund.
