CS/SB 1162: Computer Problems/Year 2000
GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Kirkpatrick ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Sullivan ; Forman
Computer Problems/Year 2000; recognizes potential computer problems that may occur in state agencies due to date change necessitated by year 2000; authorizes Governor to reassign resources in event of likely computer failure; authorizes Administration Commission to reassign resources if agency headed by Governor & Cabinet or Cabinet officer is likely to experience computer failure; authorizes legislative veto of reassignment of state resources, etc. Amends FS.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
