CS/SB 1270: Tobacco Settlement Funds
GENERAL BILL by Ways and Means ; Thomas
Tobacco Settlement Funds; provides for use of revenues obtained as result of settlement of litigation involving tobacco industry; provides for lump sum from certain of such funds to be appropriated to Health Dept. to continue implementation of Fla. Kids Campaign Against Tobacco Pilot Program; specifies guidelines to be applied by Legislature in expending funds paid to state as result of settlement of litigation involving tobacco industry, etc. APPROPRIATION: $70,000,000.
Effective Date: 07/01/1998 except as otherwise provided
