GENERAL BILL by Natural Resources
Solid Waste Management; provides for solid waste diversion goal; provides that county's solid waste management & recycling program must be designed to meet diversion goal; deletes language re solid waste reduction goal & its requirements; deletes requirement that certain counties must provide opportunity to recycle; deletes provision that allows DEP to reduce or modify solid waste reduction goal under certain circumstances, etc. Amends 403.705,.706,.7095.
