SB 1700: Medicaid Program

GENERAL BILL by Grant

Medicaid Program; requires providers to use standard tape or electronic billing format adopted by AHCA, or to accept paper billing submitted by agency; creates "Medicaid Estate Recovery Act"; allows agency to recover amounts expended for Medicaid assistance from estate of deceased recipient; provides criteria to be used by agency in granting waivers on grounds of undue hardship; amends provision that allows agency to withhold Medicaid payments, etc. Amends Chs. 409, 733.
