GENERAL BILL by Diaz-Balart

Weapons & Firearms; revises qualifications for obtaining license to carry concealed weapon or firearm; prohibits Dept. of State from issuing such license to any person who has been involuntarily committed to mental institution under Baker Act; prohibits person who has been voluntarily committed to facility, is mentally ill, & presents substantial likelihood of harming self or others from possessing firearm or electric weapon or device, etc. Amends FS.
