GENERAL BILL by Fiscal Policy ; Criminal Justice ; Diaz-Balart ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Campbell

Pretrial Release; revises criteria for bail determination; prohibits persons charged with dangerous crimes from being placed on pretrial release on nonmonetary conditions at first appearance hearings; authorizes court to order pretrial detention for persons on pretrial release who commit new crimes under certain circumstances; revises time period for bond forfeiture payment & notice, etc. Amends 903.046,.26, 907.041; creates 903.0471.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
