GENERAL BILL by Commerce and Economic Opportunities ; Mitchell ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Forman

Unemployment Comp./Domestic Violence; provides that being victim of domestic violence which results in separation from work constitutes "good cause" for purposes of eligibility for unemployment compensation; prescribes conditions; requires satisfactory proof; requires referral to certified domestic violence center; conditions payment of claims based on domestic violence upon specific appropriation. Amends 443.101. APPROPRIATION: $200,000.
