CS/HB 1529: Controlled Substances

GENERAL BILL by Crime Prevention, Corrections & Safety ; Simmons ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Dick

Controlled Substances; authorizes creation of pilot program in Orange County to intercept illegal drug shipments through package delivery services; provides that person who willfully maintains place where such substances are unlawfully kept, sold, or delivered commits offense of keeping or maintaining public nuisance; adds drug products containing Gamma-hydroxybutyric acid (GHB) which are approved under Federal Food, Drug, & Cosmetic Act to Schedule III, etc. Amends FS.

Effective Date: 07/01/2001 except as otherwise provided
