CS/SB 1542: Document Excise Tax/Exemption
GENERAL BILL by Finance and Taxation ; Sebesta
Document Excise Tax/Exemption; exempts certain transfers of homestead real property that involve spouses & that create tenancy by entireties from tax on deeds & other instruments re real property or interests therein; provides that certificate of title issued by clerk of court in judicial sale of real property pursuant to foreclosure proceedings shall be subject to said tax, etc. Amends 201.02.
