CS/CS/SB 2214: Tobacco
GENERAL BILL by Finance and Taxation ; Judiciary ; Burt
Tobacco; specifies procedures by which tobacco manufacturer may become "participating manufacturer" or "subscribing participating manufacturer"; directs wholesalers to pay surcharges required by chapter; prohibits specific practices by tobacco product manufacturers, importers, distributing agents, wholesale dealers, exporters or others; provides for imposition of public health tobacco equity surcharge, etc. Amends Ch. 210, 17.41, 215.5601.
