SB 242: Nursing Homes/Recording Devices

GENERAL BILL by Brown-Waite

Nursing Homes/Recording Devices; provides that nursing home facility may not prohibit installation of audio or video recording devices in residents' rooms; provides restriction; provides immunity from claims & legal actions for facilities that install recording devices in residents' rooms, unless negligence on part of facility is cause of resident's accident or injury. Creates 400.0223.
