GENERAL BILL by Gottlieb ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Heyman

Children's Firearm Responsibility; creates "Children's Firearm Responsibility Act of 2001"; prohibits manufacture & importation of unsafe handguns; prohibits furnishing of such handguns to minors under 18 years of age; provides fine & additional penalties for persons convicted of leaving loaded firearm within reach or easy access of minor under certain circumstances; establishes juvenile gun violence prevention grant program, etc. Amends Chs. 784, 790, 985. APPROPRIATION: $1,000,000.
