GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Burt ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Mitchell

Health Insurance/Military Persons; specifies that termination of employment of employee during or after period of active military duty constitutes separate qualifying event for purposes of allowing employee to elect to continue coverage under employer's group health plan; tolls maximum time period for which coverage may be continued under employer's group health plan for individual who has elected coverage & who is called to active military duty, etc. Amends 627.6692.
