CS/SB 1362: Insurance

GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Latvala

Insurance; clarifies exception; provides additional exception to requirement that minimum of 2 months' premium be collected to issue policy or binder for motor vehicle insurance; authorizes insurance agents & insurers that finance premiums for certain policies to charge interest or service charge at specified rate on unpaid premiums on those policies. Amends 627.7295,.901.
