JOINT RESOLUTION by Brummer ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Harrington

Justices & Judges; constitutional amendment to make proceedings of judicial nominating commissions public; proposes to abolish retention elections for offices of Supreme Court justice, making offices appointive by Governor, subject to Senate confirmation, allowing reappointment for full 6-year terms, with no one eligible to serve more than 18 consecutive years, etc. Amends Art. V; creates s. 26, Art. XII.
