GENERAL BILL by Council for Smarter Government ; Needelman ; Heyman

Sexually Violent Offenders; provides that certain evidence may be used in criminal proceeding or for purpose of identification; authorizes person held in secure facility under certain provisions, to file petition for habeas corpus; provides for response & evidentiary proceeding; prohibits person from filing petition for habeas corpus in commitment proceedings; provides that petitioner does not have right to appointed counsel, etc. Creates 394.9215; amends 394.923.
