GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Health, Aging and Long-Term Care ; Klein

Infant Eye Care; requires certain eye examinations for all infants born in hospitals in state; requires Medicaid program to include certain eye examinations as covered benefit; reenacts provision re penalty; provides that coverage for children under health insurance policies & health maintenance organization contracts include certain eye examinations for infants & children. Amends 383.04, 627.6416, 627.6579, 641.31; reenacts 383.07.
