CS/SB 594: Congressional Districts
GENERAL BILL by Reapportionment ; Latvala
Congressional Districts; redistricts state's congressional districts in accordance with United States Decennial Census of 2000; provides for inclusion of unlisted territory in contiguous districts; provides contiguity for areas specified for inclusion in one district which are entirely surrounded by other districts; reenacts provision which provides for election of representatives to United States House of Representatives, etc. Amends Ch. 8; reenacts 8.031.
Effective Date: Contingent except ss. 7 & 8 shall take effect upon this act becoming law
