HB 693: Managed Care Ombudsman Committees
GENERAL BILL by Bucher ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Sobel ; Gannon ; Bullard
Managed Care Ombudsman Committees; amends provision re district managed care ombudsman committees; requires formation of said committee in each district of AHCA; specifies that committee members serve in voluntary capacity; eliminates authorization for committees to conduct site visits with agency; requires AHCA to adopt rules re conflicts of interest for committees; amends provision re immunity from liability & limitation on testimony for said committees, etc. Amends Ch. 641. APPROPRIATION: $300,000.
