GENERAL BILL by The Future of Florida's Families ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Fiorentino ; Sobel
Child Protective Investigations; clarifies provisions re persons responsible for child's welfare; requires personnel from abuse hotline of CFS Dept. to determine whether report meets criteria for child abuse, neglect, or abandonment; requires CFS Dept. to conduct assessment in response to certain reports involving juvenile sexual offenders; revises timeframe for responding to report of institutional child abuse, etc. Amends Ch. 39, 414.065.
