CS/SB 2080: Health Care Insurance

GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Peaden

Health Care Insurance; (THIS BILL COMBINED IN CS/CS/CS/S560,CS/S2080) deletes exclusion from application of deceptive & unfair trade practices provisions to DOI; provides that certain consumer protection laws apply to business of insurance; authorizes health care providers to form commercial self-insurance fund; revises certain authorized actions multiple insurers may engage in together, etc. Amends Chs. 501, 624, 627.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law
