Halifax Hospital Medical Center; (Volusia Co.) codifies, reenacts, & amends charter of said special tax district; provides for boundaries of district; establishes Board of Commissioners; authorizes district to establish, construct, operate, & maintain hospitals, medical facilities, & services; requires district to provide care & services for medically indigent; exempts property of dist. from taxation; provides for employee benefits & competitive bidding, etc.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law
