CS/HB 477: Rental Agreements

GENERAL BILL by Patterson ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Littlefield ; Quinones

Rental Agreements; removes provisions requiring payment of liquidated damages to landlord under certain circumstances upon termination of rental agreement; prohibits landlord from discriminating against member of United States Armed Forces in offering dwelling unit for rent; provides that rental agreement having specific duration may require tenant to give notice before vacating premises, etc. Amends 83.682,.67; creates 83.575.
