GENERAL BILL by Posey ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Fasano ; Cowin ; Crist

Law Enforcement Fair Defense Act; redefines term "law enforcement officer" for purposes of payment of costs & attorney's fees in certain actions commenced against such officer; revises circumstances under which employing agency of such officer has option of paying legal costs & attorney's fees in action arising out of officer's official duties; provides for jurisdiction re legal costs & attorney's fees; provides certain limitations of amount awarded, etc. Amends 111.065.
