SB 2850: Children/Medical Screenings

GENERAL BILL by Dawson

Children/Medical Screenings; revises provisions re medical screenings performed on children who are removed from home & maintained in out-of-home placement; prohibits CFS Dept. from administering or authorizing psychiatric or psychological tests or psychotropic medications for child in departmental custody except with written & informed consent of child's parent or legal guardian or by court order; provides for rulemaking, etc. Amends 39.407,.601,.703,.806.
